The Kabin Company is a Hampshire-based company with 10 years experience in creating bespoke mobile timber cabins. We started out renovating and refurbishing redundant vehicles on the farm for a variety of uses.
Our projects include the conversion of a 1960s Bedford horse box into a successful holiday rental, a 1980s double decker bus into a deli and café, and a rice horse box into a mobile pizza oven.
With the launch of the Kabin Co in 2019, we began building mobile kabins from scratch using reclaimed and locally sourced materials. We work with our customers to design and build totally unique spaces to meet their requirements. Popular uses for our kabins include outdoor offices, studios, gyms, guest bothies, glamping pods or holiday rentals, but the sky is the limit!
Our energy-efficient kabins have minimal impact on the environment and we pride ourselves on our sustainable building approach. Our chosen insulation is made from a combination of recycled wood and paper, and the large majority of internal cladding is sourced from the woodland on the farm, and felled and milled locally.
Our kabins are built on custom-made trailer chassis to maximise the internal space available, whilst meeting road transportation regulations.
Should you move house at any point, your kabin can come with you! Equally, they are highly sellable commodities if you find you no longer have a need for it. A great investment!
